First Street Pedestrian Improvements Open House

The following is from the flyer send by the City of Phoenix Street Transportation Department: You're invited to the 1st Street Pedestrian Improvements Open House. Project Background: Several community stakeholder meetings were held in 2010. Information, input and ideas were gathered and integrated into the master plan known as the 1st Street Streetscape Study: Van Buren Street to Moreland Street which was finalized in 2012. That year, construction of the first two blocks between Fillmore Street and McKinley Street were completed. The City invites you to come see how the next four blocks of 1st Street between McKinley Street and Moreland Street will be enhanced. We look forward to seeing you there!
