The Origins Project at Arizona State University says
Join Lawrence Krauss, director of the Origins Project at ASU, as he welcomes Adrian Liu, recipient of the inaugural Postdoctoral Lectureship Prize.

In his lecture, Observing Our Origins in the First Galaxies, Liu will convey the vastness of our Universe, and just how ambitious but rewarding a feat it is to try to understand our cosmological origins. He will explain the technical challenges in 21 cm cosmology as he attempts to systematically map out the observable Universe. Since 21 cm cosmology is a work in progress, you will be treated with the chance to understand and anticipate ‘the next big thing’ before it becomes reality.

This event is free and open to the public, however you must RSVP below to gain admission.

Refreshments will be served in the Marston Theatre Lobby from 5:15-5:45pm with the lecture beginning promptly at 6:00pm.
