Phx Zine Fest 2016 says
The first annual PHX Zine Fest is taking place Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 11am to 6pm at the Ice House in downtown Phoenix! We have 65 vendors, 70% of which are from Arizona, artist talks, panels, a kids zine making table, and a great after party planned.

Day of schedule for Panels, Discussions, and Artist Talks:

11:30-12:15 - Rachel Leket-Mor / A Needle in a Haystack, A Zine in Hayden Stacks: Hidden Treasures at ASU Libraries
12:30-1:15 - Sage Adderley / Workshop: Self-Publish with Confidence
1:30-2:15 - Amber McCrary / POC Talk: The Creative Process through a cultural lens
2:30-3:15 - Rosemarie Dombrowski / From Social Protest to a New Poetics: The Microzine in the College Classroom.
3:30-4:15 - Joy Young / The Zine Table: Gender in Transition
4:30-5:15 - Jake Friedman / Blood and Sweat and Tears and Actual Blood (Just Once) - The Four Chambers Story
