City of Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture says
This workshop is not just about offering more tips on writing your first grant or improving your skills. You will watch Sarah Sullivan demonstrate her step-by-step process in writing a grant: identifying the important pieces of a grant application, where to store grant writing files, how to estimate how long it will take to complete an application, and more. Sarah's technique is interactive, so we encourage you to come with questions.

Each round-table discussion at lunch will include a staff member of an arts organization to discuss their grant writing process. Additionally, Robin Hanson with AZ Business Volunteers for the Arts will discuss Pro Bono Volunteers, and Linda Essig, director of the Pave Program in Arts Entrepreneurship at ASU, will discuss grant writing tools and the Arizona Arts Entrepreneur Toolkit.

Sarah Sullivan is the Development Manager of Childsplay, a $3 million organization in the Phoenix Area. She is also the Co-Founder of Rising Youth Theatre, a $30,000 organization in its fifth year that creates original work with young people in collaboration with professional artists.
