Opera Theater of Pittsburgh says
They're back! Two performances only of our five commissioned contemporary comic operas!

See NIGHT CAPS on:
Thursday, July 21 at 7:30 pm
Sunday, July 24 at 6 pm
Hilda Willis Room, Winchester Thurston School.

Fun. Comical. A little naughty! Our five mini music dramas return to take audiences to Miss Darlington’s hotel, a place of romance, mystery and danger.

Journey through each of its bedrooms, enchanted by the decadence of secrets, haunted by the ghosts of presidents, and perfumed with the memory of love. A meddling hotel manager and beleaguered bellhop add to our spicy recipe for laughter! Leave kids at home for our “metro operas”—and enjoy a signature cocktail, included with admission!

A little naughty! Leave the kids at home!
Admission includes signature SummerFest cocktail.

The libretto by Rob Handel, head of Carnegie Mellon University’s dramatic writing program, takes the audience through bedrooms haunted by the ghosts of presidents and perfumed with the memory of love. The composers are a mix of national and international figures.
