Body-Mind Centering is an embodied approach to movement, body and consciousness. We are both the student and the subject. It is our body, our particular anatomy, our own physiology, our personal developmental patterns that are the area of study. We are explorers of ourselves. And through our personal experience we make our discoveries. We can touch the infinite within.

Every cell, tissue, organ and body system has the capacity for awareness. We can participate in this awareness through embodiment. We can be as fine or broadly focused as we like. What do the bones offer us? What do the organs offer us? What are my cells saying? How does my relationship to yield, push, reach and pull influence how I move, how I am in the world?

The body is deeply complex providing us with a place to be endlessly curious, continuously engaged. Come be a pioneer, an explorer of the dynamic inner and outer worlds. Through movement (asana), intellectual understanding and touch we will mine the inner depths and tap the inherent wisdom within our bodies, creating ease and resilience both on and off the mat.
