IMIrJ Annual Dinner and Fundraiser - this year celebrating 10 years of working together for immigrant justice!

Keynote Speaker is activist Rev. Noel Andersen!

Noel has served as the CWS Grassroots Coordinator for 5 years, helping develop a national network of faith rooted organizing alongside immigrants' and refugee rights throughout the country. He has worked for a number of non-profit organizations in Central America and on the border focusing on community development, education and community organizing. Trained as an organizer by the Midwest Academy and Interfaith Worker Justice, ordained in the United Church of Christ (UCC), fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and he sits on the board of the Center for New Community as well as United We DREAM’s advisory committee for Deportation Defense. He also plays a significant role helping with national coordination for the current day efforts of the Sanctuary Movement to stop deportations.
