Cio's Portland Mayoral Candidate Forum says
Center for Intercultural Organizing (CIO) is pleased to present a Portland Mayoral Forum featuring four of the candidates running for Portland's top job: Jules Bailey, Sarah Iannarone, David Schor, and Ted Wheeler.

According to recent U.S. Census numbers, one in eight Portlanders is foreign-born, and in some East Portland neighborhoods the number is closer to one in three. Immigrants and refugees face challenges accessing government services, finding safe and affordable housing, and receiving fair treatment by police.

As our city becomes more stratified by economic status and race—and gentrification pushes immigrants, refugees, and people of color to the margins—what can Portland’s next Mayor do? Join us at the CIO office on Tuesday, April 5th as these four candidates address immigrant and refugee concerns.

This forum is hosted by members of CIO’s Pan-Immigrant Leadership and Organizing Training (PILOT) program. PILOT leaders would like to invite immigrants, refugees, people of color, and marginalized communities to ask questions to the Mayoral candidates. Please take a moment to fill out the following survey. Make your voice heard!
