Join Clawfoot Slumber for the first look at the official video for "Survive" a track off their latest album, "Open Wide to the Demons Who Crave a Word with the Ghost of Your Heart" (Open Wide). Directed by Serpent Power Productions (serpentpowerproductions.com), this timeless piece was filmed on location in some of Oregon's most rugged territory. Director, Devin Febbroriello describes her conceptual inspiration for the video:

"From the first moment I heard "Survive" by Clawfoot Slumber, it invoked incredibly rich imagery in my mind. Apparitions of earth, smoke, fog, water, and fire danced eerily in the space between the immense beauty of life and the weight of our innate need to survive in a vast universe that often feels like it is pushing back against us. There is something so compelling and moving about the way this song holds the space between difficulty and hope. I felt very drawn to creating imagery that would further explore and invoke similar emotions in the viewer. This led to contemplating our need for relationship, connection, and love as a key necessity in our ability to survive the difficulties of life. We are in a constant dance of carrying and supporting one another while also needing to be carried and supported ourselves. Often times one is up while the other is down. The piece became a meditation on the endless flow of relationships and how the beauty of life, love, and the earth are amplified through the sobering reminder of the harshness of nature, survival, and loss."

Portland songwriter Johanna Warren will premiere a new video single created in collaboration with director Samantha Ravenna Sóley Shay and videographer Victoria Sendra. Last summer, Warren and Shay guided thirteen women on a ritual journey to a secret waterfall in Mt. Hood National Forest. The resulting experience gave birth to the experimental sound healing coven STONEHOLDER, a ritual container in which witches unite to heal with the power of their voices.
