Film Screening: Containment says
Containment is a 2015 documentary film by Peter Galison and Robb Moss.
Part observational essay filmed in weapons plants, Fukushima and deep underground—and part graphic novel—Containment weaves between an uneasy present and an imaginative, troubled far future, exploring the idea that over millennia, nothing stays put.

This event will take place at Newspace (1632 SE 10th Ave.)

FREE and open to the public.

This film screening is taking place in conjunction with Newspace’s current exhibition REACTIVE MATTERS (June 3 – July 23, 2016) – an exhibition featuring the work of Jeremy Bolen, Abbey Hepner, and Shimpei Takeda who reveal the invisible presence of nuclear energy in our environment by incorporating radioactive materials into their photographic process.
