LGBT youth make up to 40 percent of homeless and at-risk youth. HRC, New Avenues for Youth and The Q Center invite you to partner with us on a service project benefiting LGBT homeless youth in our Portland community.

By donating items and volunteering your time.

Donate Items or Organize a Donation Drive
By January 17, please help us collect the following items for the youth served by New Avenues for Youth/SMYRC and Q Center:

- Unopened travel-sized toiletries including soaps, shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, tampons/sanitary napkins, tissues
- New underwear and socks
- Sleeping bags
- Tarps
- Flashlights
- Backpacks
- Warm hats
- Small non-perishable snack and food items such as
- Fruit and nut bars, granola bars and energy bars
- Tuna and cracker packages
- Packets of nuts and dried fruit
