Join us for a healing Gong Meditation this Mother's Day, a beautiful opportunity for mothers and their families to share in a unique, healing experience, or for individuals doing healing work around the divine feminine in their life. Our experience will include guided stretching, breath work, a generous immersion of gong and a beautiful, integrative Kundalini Yoga meditation.

This experience is appropriate for adults and youth age 9 and older, of all yoga levels, including pregnant women and those who have never done yoga before. Gong is known to be one of the most powerful forms of sound healing and has the potential to create lasting change on multiple levels. It can release blocked energy, reset our body's energy systems, and open us to the vastness of our own psyche. Gong vibration has the potential to release stress in the nervous system, support the pituitary and pineal glands, and bring us into peace, balance, and connection with our higher self. Join us for this gentle journey with the primal sound current.

Participants lie down on a yoga mat in savasana (resting pose), to experience the healing sound vibrations. The studio provides yoga mats, pillows, a blanket and eye pillow. We encourage you also to bring your own soft pad (camp pad or easy to carry, roll up foam mattress) and a personal blanket or shawl. It is very nice to have extra padding, and you will want to be cozy. Sitting up during gong meditation is also an option and is recommended for seasoned meditators who have experienced lying down gong down before. Our Mother's Day gong meditation is always extra special, and open to all. Please register in advance for this gong event, as it historically always sells out. We look forward to sharing this special day with you! $18 in advance, $25 drop-in.
