Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants says
Oregon Zoo elephant Rama, Packy's son, died on March 30. He was euthanized at the age of 31, less than half of the life expectancy of wild elephants. In honor of Rama, and to help prevent the same tragic ending for Packy, please join Free the Oregon Zoo Elephants (FOZE) on April 25 to rally for Packy, and all the elephants who remain confined and suffering at the Oregon Zoo. The rally starts at 12 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Please make plans to join us for all or part of this important rally to speak up for Oregon Zoo elephants.

FOZE and In Defense of Animals (IDA) are sponsoring a “Rally to Free Packy!” to coincide with the date of his 53rd birthday. We are rallying to urge the Oregon Zoo officials to release him to sanctuary and to stop the failed breeding program at the Oregon Zoo.
