Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) says
Should we edit the genome? Over dinner participants will engage in thoughtful conversations with scientists about important issues regarding the potential societal and ethical implications of advancements in science and technology. This event discusses the potential ways CRISPR could be used across a variety of applications and the related ethical implications.

No previous knowledge of the topic is needed. Just bring your thoughts and opinions!

Guests will be placed in groups of 8 to discuss the topic. Scientists will be present at the event to help lead the discussion groups.

Tickets are $20pp and include dinner. There will be a cash bar for beverages.

Advance ticket purchases are required, no tickets will be sold at the door due to food ordering deadlines. No refunds less than 24 hours prior to the event.
