Summer Arts On Main: Jt Wise Band says
As part of Summer Arts on Main Street, Portland’5 Centers for the Arts volunteers present the Noontime Showcase concerts every Wednesday in July and August. The free series continues on July 6, 2016 at 12 PM with JT Wise. The performance will be held in downtown Portland on Main Street, between southwest Broadway & Park Ave., next to Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

JT Wise on electric guitar and vocals. His musical influences read like a Clapton Crossroads Festival including the full spectrum of guitar from Clapton, to Billy Gibbons, Vince Gill,
Robben Ford, with a touch of Garcia and Betts thrown in as well. JT has a distinctive guitar style and tone creating a signature sound for the JT Wise band.

JT along with his wife Margaret are the principle songwriters. Their music is anchored in the blues. Many songs blend rock, blues and Americana that is popular with
audiences today.

The 4 piece bands good time music is tight, rhythmic and adventuresome. They have been known to stretch out on a song in the tradition of the great jam bands
taking the song where ever it may lead. They enjoy singing and harmonizing together. In addition to JT, Margaret Wise is on bass and vocals; Jim Stein on rhythm and slide guitar, and vocals; and Ken Woodside on drums.

The JT Wise Band performs every week at venues and events. You can find their music schedule at
