Summer Slow Jams 3: The Multiplayer Jam (Opening Night!) says
*note that the opening night date is now August 11th*

Make a game project with friends and community members over the course of a week! Summer Slow Jams is a collection of game jam events happening once a month this summer, providing structure and networking opportunities for creatives in Portland.

The Multiplayer Jam prompts you to follow the awesome couch multiplayer trend and make a game that two or more people can play with each other in the same room! If your game is made in Unity, you will be able to hook it into our friend's indie games arcade cabinet: a full-sized arcade machine made just for indie games boasting easy access for Unity projects! Note below that we're offering an introductory Unity workshop and that we will be showcasing our games during TechFest Northwest :3
There will be a secondary creative theme delivered on our opening night, Tuesday the 11th.

Summer Slow Jams 3 encourages you to create a game project over the course of a week as an individual or on a team from August 11th through August 21st, either in person or remotely. Major dates for the jam are as follows:
• Tuesday, August 11th: Jam start! In addition to the above theme of "Make a Multiplayer Game," you will be given a creative theme for further inspiration.
• Saturday, August 15th through Sunday, August 16th: 24-hour workspace! Get the bulk of your work done here and use the rest of the week to polish your project.
• Weekday Meetups: TBA
• Friday, August 21st: Jam end! Show off your game at TechFest NW (comment on this event or message Will Lewis for details)
