The Hunting Ground
Film Screening Followed by Panel
Tuesday, October 20th from 4:00-6:30pm in SMSU 238
From the Academy Award-nominated filmmaking team behind THE INVISIBLE WAR, comes a startling exposé of sexual assault on U.S. campuses, institutional cover-ups and the brutal social toll on victims and their families.

The film features former University of North Carolina (UNC) students Annie Clark and Andrea Pino, who were both raped on campus. Despite retaliation, harassment and pushback, the pair’s fight for justice led to a Title IX complaint with the federal Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights against UNC.

A panel discussion following the film will address awareness of sexual assault on college campuses, a discussion of policies, response, and resources available to students at PSU. The panel includes:

Domanic Thomas, Director of Conduct and Community Standards; Adrienne Graf, Interpersonal Violence Program Lead Advocate; Julie Caron, Title IX Coordinator for PSU; Phillip Zerzan, Director of Public Safety at PSU; Harriet Cutler, PSU Student; and Alicia Printemps Herget, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner at Student Health and Counseling Center. The panel will be moderated by Cynthia Gomez the Director of Cultural Centers and Jocelyn Wagman, Chair of the Student Alliance for Sexual Safety.
