The show kicks off its new web series with special guest star ★ Andrei Codrescu ★ author and correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. Codrescu’s book THE POSTHUMAN DADA GUIDE makes for a timely interview: The Late Now reboot celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Cabaret Voltaire, birthplace of the irreverent Dada (anti)-art movement in Zürich, Switzerland.

We’ll have a remote interview with the current operators of the restored Cabaret Voltaire, plus a Dada Game Show with Andrei Codrescu and audience participation.

Feb 5 also débuts THE LATE NOW GRAND CRÜ BAND:
★ CHARLES PIKE — bandleader, drums & vocals
★ ANNA LEANDER — vocals, trombone, keytar
★ PAUL BRAINARD — guitar & trumpet
★ RUSSELL GORES — bass & percussion

The night's music includes a TLN TRIBUTE TO ★ David Bowie, near and dear to our hearts.

★ Composer CHRISTOPHER CORBELL, whose opera Viva’s Holiday premiered to great acclaim in December, 2015.
★ Poet JAMES YEARY with the Experimental Weather Report.
★ Poetic performer MARK OWENS doing Kurt Schwitters with LEO DAEDALUS.
