Access Sacramento's 16th annual celebration of local filmmaking, the A Place Called Sacramento Film Festival presents eight world premiere short films featuring local writers, directors, producers, actors and technicians.
Meet the filmmakers when doors open at 12:15pm.
Films begin at 1pm.
The audience votes with their smart phones to select the "Audience Favorite" award.

This film festival starts as a script competition with judging in March and April. An all-community cast and crew call in May provides the volunteer actors and crew who help the writers turned producers create their films. The world premiere of the films occurs the first Sunday in October each year.
