Community Dinner Project: End The Seige On Palestine

Community Dinner Project says
Sacramento's communities are crying out for justice! For the past 13 weeks that City Council is in session, we hold Organic Community Dinners on the steps of city hall, in violation of the anti-homeless laws, to bring the community together for a delicious, nutritious meal, to share information, concerns and solutions, and to pack the mic and demand action from our city council during their meetings after dinner! We are a city, not a business. People are facing homelessness, police harassment and brutality, economic injustice, criminalization, and more. The time for action is NOW. We must come together as a community and address these issues if we truly want change. Please join us for dinner, community fellowship, and community engagement each week!

This week while we continue to push the city to repeal their inhumane camping ordinance, we will also address the cities continued support of the illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine. This occupation has violated the human rights of the Palestinians who live under constant martial law, have been forced from their home and land, face military strikes, cannot exercise their right to travel, are not allowed building materials and more. We will ask for the city to consider divesting, and boycotting Israeli companies until the occupation is over.

**We are always in need of more donated organic food, gently used/clean jackets, sweaters and blankets, and gloves/hats/ponchos. We will always strive to serve as much organic food as possible. Every one is invited to join!
