Type 1 Diabetes TrialNet says
The TrialNet team from University of California - San Francisco will be screening family members through the Pathway to Prevention Study at the JDRF Northern California TypeOneNation Summit this Saturday, August 13th.

The Pathway to Prevention Study is screening relatives for type 1 diabetes related autoantibodies through a simple blood draw which help determine risk to develop type 1 diabetes and eligibility for a prevention trial or close monitoring.

Anyone between the ages of 1 and 45 with a parent, sibling, or child with type 1 diabetes or anyone between the ages of 1 and 20 with a cousin, niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, half-sibling or grandparent with type 1 diabetes may be eligible to participate at no cost.

Also, be sure to check out the Keynote presentation from TrialNet Project Manager, Annie Shultz. She will be giving a type 1 diabetes research update in her talk "The Plan for a World Without T1D."
See you there!
