Pacific Arts Movement says
The San Diego Asian Film Festival Spring Showcase is back for its sixth edition, April 28 to May 5, with 14 spectacular film programs from 10 countries!

We're kicking off our week-long celebration of Asian cinema with a special premiere of the Yo-Yo Ma documentary THE MUSIC OF STRANGERS, April 28. We promise you'll want to watch how film and music bring the world together in this touching piece about musicians from all along the fabled Silk Road trade route. See this film before its theater release!

At the end of the eight-day showcase — which will be full of dazzling hip hop dancers, hilariously awkward romance, tearjerkers, and much more — we're concluding on May 5 with SWEET 20, the biggest hit of Vietnam in 2015. More than just a remake of the Korean film MISS GRANNY, the bubbly SWEET 20 promises lots of laughs in this perfect fantasy-comedy about a neglected grandmother who becomes 20 years old again.

See both of these phenomenal films, and every program in between, only at the 6th Annual Spring Showcase!
