Croce's Park West says
Saxophonist and band leader Charlie Arbelaez was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has been playing saxophone since his early teen years and has performed in major cities all across the US with world class musicians including Arturo Sandoval, Jon Faddis, Ira Sullivan, and many more. His influences include some of the greatest saxophonists that have ever lived, among them being Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Stitt, Phil Woods, and John Coltrane, to name a few. Charlie has developed a voice on alto saxophone with a sound that fills the room with bright colors and his music brings a double helping of vibrant energy. The tradition of bebop jazz is very much alive and clearly evident in his performances. If you like the style of Art Blakey, you’ll probably appreciate the approach of Charlie Arbelaez to jazz.

Please join us for dinner & live music in our Expatriate Room. $10 cover.
