Hungry? SanDiego350's “Planet-Based Diet” team has secured a substantial area adjacent to the Timken Museum for our “Garden of Eating” exhibit at EarthFair on Sunday, April 19 from 10am - 5pm! The exhibit will feature:

-100% plant-based food vendors
-Other plant-based exhibitors
-Food samples
-Cooking/preparation demos
-Information exhibits

We will be contrasting the many benefits of plant-based eating with the devastating effects of animal agriculture on climate change, resources use including water depletion, human health, and, of course, animals.

In addition, nationally-known environmental and dumpster-diving food waste activist Rob Greenfield will give an eye-opening presentation on food waste, which is sure to draw a crowd.

Vegetarians and omnivores alike are welcome! No “vegan police” will be present. The hope is simply for you to come away inspired and excited about plant-based eating.

Jimbo’s, San Diego Soy Dairy, and JR Organics have generously donated food and supplies for our food demonstration stage.

Please check back often for the full stage schedule and vendor list. We'll see you at the Garden of Eating!

Interesting in volunteering or being a vendor? We have plenty of shifts to fill! Contact Joyce at
