Jay Chu is a singer/songwriter originally from New Jersey, currently residing in San Diego, California. His music blends various elements of indie pop, folk, and alternative rock. Jay's shows are performed without the use of a backup band, often utilizing instead a loopstation to create the effect of having backup singers and instruments. "My name is Jay Chu. I spend my days working as an engineer but I use the rest of my time pursuing my other passion - music.
