Mainly Mozart‘s signature event, the annual Mainly Mozart Festival, brings together some of the world’s greatest artists for three weeks of orchestral concerts under the baton of Maestro Michael Francis at the historic Balboa Theatre; chamber music in intimate downtown venues; lectures, presentations and performances as part of Mozart & the Mind – Exploring the Music-Brain Effect; free open rehearsals of the Festival Orchestra; performances by the Mainly Mozart Youth Orchestra – and so much more! The 2016 Mainly Mozart Festival takes place in downtown San Diego from June 4-18, 2016.

Recognized by the Guinness World Records as “The World’s Youngest Solo Musician to Head-line His Own Concert Tour,” 15-year-old Ethan Bortnick has been performing around the world, raising over $40,000,000 for charities across the globe. In addition to appearances on the Tonight Show (4 times), Good Morning America (2 times), Oprah (2 times), the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and all major U.S. networks, Ethan is a stand-out as a fundraiser for public radio and television. His 2010 concert special on PBS aired over 600 times nationwide, and his 2014 concert special, The Power of Music, which he created and hosted, aired over 1,500 times, was the #1 Public Television Concert pledge show in 2014/15, and continues to air nationally. Ethan is also the youngest solo headliner in Las Vegas and has starred in a feature film, Anything is Possible, for which he co-wrote 10 songs, scored the film and played the main character.
