Salvation Army San Diego says
Come celebrate National Donut Day with The Salvation Army! Get a FREE Entenmann's Bakery or Krispy Kreme donut!

On Friday, June 3, local donut “lassies” will be passing out free donuts, coffee and t-shirts to say thank you to the San Diegans who support our mission. Donut lassies will be stationed next to the USS Midway Museum on Navy Pier from 11:30 am until supplies are gone!

The Salvation Army is partnering with Entenmann's Bakery and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, who together have donated 1,100 donuts!

National Donut Day is a special day of the year when we commemorate the “donut lassies,” the female Salvation Army volunteers who provided writing supplies, stamps, clothes-mending, home-cooked meals and, of course, donuts, for soldiers on the front lines.
