ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station hosts a FREE concert with the San Diego State University Wind Symphony Concert on Saturday, July 9, starting 6 PM for a 1 hour performance at the Scout at Quarters D gardens. Bring a picnic and blanket to enjoy the concert while overlooking beautiful downtown city skyline. Arrive early and shop Scout @ Quarters D – a unique home design and décor store located in historic Officer’s Quarters, open 10-6 PM.

Before or after the concert, enjoy a specially crafted meal at Solare Ristorante Italiano Bar & Lounge or at The LOT’s restaurant and lounge and stroll through ARTS DISTRICT studios, galleries, museums, gardens and promenade. Afterward stay for a movie at The LOT. It’s all happening here!

Concert Synopsis:
The San Diego State University Wind Symphony directed by Shannon Kitelinger, Director of Bands at San Diego State University, present an exhilarating performance of “Americana” themed marches, a salute to members of the armed forces, and a number of other works that are perfect for an outdoor band concert.

The concert performance will take place on Woodworth Way with sitting space available on the Scout at Quarters D gardens. Park between the Dorothea Laub Dance Place at 2650 Truxtun Rd and Airport Noise Mitigation/Quieter Home Program – 2722 Truxtun Road.
