Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego says
Our seminar-style course in contemporary art is back, and the fall series is organized in conjunction with the MCASD La Jolla exhibition The Uses of Photography: Art, Politics, and the Reinvention of a Medium. Our four sessions are led by Deputy Director, Art and Programs Kathryn Kanjo; Curator Jill Dawsey; Assistant Curator Anthony Graham; and Education Curator Cris Scorza. The sessions will look closely at contemporary photography from the 1960s to today, featuring artists such as John Baldessari, Martha Rosler, Cindy Sherman, and James Welling, with session focuses below.

October 4: Photography as Document
October 11: Photography as Self
October 18: Photography as Statement
October 25: Photography as Image

This program is $15 for Members and $20 for non-members per session. Purchase all four sessions at a discount of $45 for Members and $60 for non-members.
