The Omen is a 1976 American-British supernatural horror-drama film directed by Richard Donner and written by David Seltzer. The film stars Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner, Harvey Spencer Stephens, Billie Whitelaw, Patrick Troughton, Martin Benson, and Leo McKern. The first installment concerns a young child adopted at birth by American Ambassador Robert Thorn (Peck) unbeknownst to his wife (Remick), after their own son is stillborn. They are surrounded by mysterious and ominous deaths, unaware that the child (Stephens) is the Antichrist. Oscar winner for Jerry Goldsmith for Best Original Score. 111 minutes, rated R.

Damien: Omen II is a continuation of the first film directed by Don Taylor and picks up seven years later. Damien (Jonathan Scott-Taylor) is now 12 and living with his with his uncle, industrialist Richard Thorn (William Holden) and his wife, Ann (Lee Grant) and Cousin Mark (Lucas Donat), Richard's son from his first marriage, with whom he is enrolled in a military academy. And havoc ensues. With Sylvia Sydney, Scott Glenn, Meshach Taylor, Robert Foxworth and Leo McKern (who reprises his role from the first film). 107 minutes, rated R.
