Built in 1881, the Victorian-fashioned Payne Mansion (now a hotel) has all the makings of an authentic haunted house. For Halloween, that aesthetic makes it perfect for a Haunted House Pop-Up Dinner, an event that mixes in a four-course meal served by undead waiters alongside witchy cocktails and a spooky, interactive show. Sleepy guests who imbibe a little too long in the “Blood Bar” can also stay the night onsite in the space’s boutique hotel — if they dare!
