Time Out says

Anyone tuned in to the Napa Valley’s growing food scene will be pleased to discover a meal at David Lu’s Eight Noodle Shop, a casual and down-to-earth respite for Asian comfort food. The focus is on both noodles and rice, which are featured as main course options. All noodles are made in house by executive chef Todd Meyerhofer and sous chef Chris Biard. There are a dozen small appetizer plates such as house made kimchee, a pickles plate, seaweed salad or charred, salted edamame. Sliced and spiced pork belly bossam, a classic Korean dish, is served in a rice-strewn lettuce cup tarted up with oyster sauce. A sweet chili sauce takes Korean fried chicken wings up a notch, while tasty tuna tartar benefits from a ponzu sauce and squid ink cracker “utensils.” Our eager service staff will gladly explain our dishes as well as the beer and wine offerings. The perfect spot for social or business gatherings, Eight Noodle welcomes large parties. For parties 9+, please call the restaurant.
