Canceled—Academy Of Play Kids’ Club: Make A Light Up Stuffed Toy says
Canceled—Due to unforeseen circumstances, August's Academy of Play + Kids' Club is canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience. There's still opportunities for fun at September's program (http://bit.ly/295fHEL)!

It’s time to PLAY! Academy of Play is a chance for adults to explore the history, science, and social impact of toys, games, and play. No need to leave the kids at home: the simultaneous Academy of Play Kids’ Club is a chance for youth to build their own toys and connect with Puget Sound's most imaginative creators.

Science + craft = toys! Learn how to use conductive thread to create a stuffed toy that actually lights up. In this brilliant workshop lead by Pop-Up Science, children will learn about electrical circuits, basic sewing skills, and come away with their very own mini stuffy to take home.

Academy of Play Kids' Club is open to ages 7 and up; adult attendance at the Academy of Play is not required for kids to participate in the Kids' Club.

Cost:
$8 MOHAI members
$10 general public
