Meet and have a conversation with Alumnus Noah Derman, MPH.

Noah Derman is the Deputy Director for Development in Gardening (DIG) for the past 5 years. Noah holds a Master in Public Health from the Global Health Department at the University of Washington’s School of Public Health and an International Development Certificate from the Evans School of Public Affairs. He is a results-oriented professional with over 10 years of experience in global health, international development and project management in both public and private organizations based domestically and internationally. He specializes in organizational management, project planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, internal and external communications, grant writing, staff supervision, partnership building, and qualitative and quantitative research. He also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer working with communities impacted by HIV/AIDS in rural Northeast Thailand. Passions outside of international development and sustainable agriculture include hiking, snowboarding, and cooking, which he does in the green mountains of Vermont.
