Mardi Gras weekend culminates with an evening of New Orleans funk on Fat Tuesday. The Meters were the house band for Allen Toussaint in the 60’s and 70’s, and backed many other musicians. Considered one of the progenitors of funk, they opened for The Rolling Stones on the 1975/1976 tours.

Featuring The Meter Maids (Wayne Horvitz, Jeff Fielder, Mike Stone, Bob Lovelace) and special guests Naomi Siegel, Ray Larson, and Skerik Skerik

No cover. The musicians are compensated by your donations.
Reservations are available for patrons who are planning to have dinner before and during the show.
