Film Screening Of "A Day's Work" says
The School of Public Health at the University of Washington will be hosting a film screening of the documentary "A Day's Work." Immediately following the film there will be an open panel discussion featuring the producer of the film and experts from the Seattle area.

Come to dinner and a movie! It will be an intellectually engaging evening exploring the evolving labor dynamics in the United States. Full movie description below.

90 minutes before he was killed on his first day of work as a temporary employee, 21-year-old Day Davis texted a picture of himself to his girlfriend, excited for their future. Now Day’s sister, 17-year-old Antonia, searches for answers. An investigation reveals the troubling issues that led to Day’s death and how the $100B temporary staffing industry is putting millions of American workers at risk.

Thanks to our co-sponsors!!! Student Public Health Association, Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences, Northwest Center for Occupational Health & Safety, and Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies.
