Joseph Assi speaks about utilizing current technology such as the I-Phone to tell powerful and relevant stories for today.

Joseph Assi was born in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon.
He was able to get an education outside the camp due to the full scholarship he was given, until he finished his masters in Cinematography and Science.

He taught Editing & Script development at the Academy of Arts & Sciences, Beirut.
In 2010 he was chosen to be a main character in a documentary called On the Road in America.

After participating in the documentary, he started making documentaries and films in the USA.

After a series of Intercultural Award winning documentaries in Los Angeles, he decided to move to the Northwest and spend his time merging the power of low budget documentary-making into scripted filmmaking.

He is a filmmaker and believes that art is the best form of expression to diplomatically resolve issues.
