Elliott Bay Book Company says
Co-presented with KEXP. Lol Tolhurst was co-founder with Robert Smith, his childhood best friend, of the iconic post- punk/Goth band, the Cure. Cured: The Tale of Two Imaginary Boys (Da Capo Press) is the story of the origins and creation of the band, of Robert Smith’s artistic evolution and of Lol Tolhurt’s alcoholism, which eventually lead to his leaving the band. Now 25 years sober, he looks back on the Cure and its legacy. Following a multimedia presentation based on stories from the book, he’ll answer questions from the audience and sign copies of Cured. Books will be sold but may also be pre-ordered via our website for pickup at the event. You must have a copy of Cured to enter the signing line (memorabilia signing limited to 2 pieces per person). KEXP is located at 472 1st Ave N. at Seattle Center. Free/no tickets needed.
