Magical Strings: 38th Annual Celtic Yuletide Concert says
The multitalented Boulding family’s Celtic-inspired holiday celebration is a beloved Puget Sound tradition. This year (their 38th!) once again sees three generations of the family—plus special guests—bringing Celtic harps, hammered dulcimers, violins, cello, concertina, percussion, and other instruments to the stage for this yuletide performance. Featured artists at this heartwarming seasonal event include traditional Irish dancing from the Tara Academy, Canadian fiddle player Jocelyn Pettit, brilliant Dublin guitarist Colm MacCarthaigh, powerful vocals led by Prescott Breeden, and dynamic percussionist Matt Jerrell. And, of course, Pam and Philip Boulding offer the sweet strains of the Celtic harp and hammered dulcimer. This event also celebrates the album release for Fairy Wind, relaying the spirit of the Boulding’s recent journey to Ireland.
