Blue Moon says
Mazigazi Band is an African music band from Olympia, Washington, which started with only family, and has now grown to a nine- member band. Inspired by African tribal rhythms and musical traditions, our music focuses on cultural experience, environment, and emphasis message of co-existence in a world where differences tend to pull us apart.

Corespondents' guitar-based musical stylings incorporate non-western instrumentaion such as the Vietnamese dan-bao and the Greek bouzouki, while still appealing to metal heads, noisers, guitar-wankers, audiophiles, tech-heads, swingers and the blues.

Pump group Hijos of Agüeybaná is considered a family committed to their Afro-Caribbean and Afro-Caribbean culture, whose mission is to share the legacy of the African roots in and out of our island.
