Mlk Day Of Service says
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Life’s most urgent question is: what are you doing for others?”

Each year, FIUTS with United Way of King County hosts the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service: an event that places nearly 2,000 volunteers in service projects throughout King County, helping organizations that support our county’s most vulnerable populations. This event is rooted in recognizing and celebrating the many ways people are engaging in and we celebrate the work being done by community members.

How will YOU answer Dr. King’s question? Volunteer for one of four projects and help make MLK Day a day on, not a day off. Come to the FIUTS office and sign up for an event starting Friday, January 6. Events to be announced soon.

For more information about the MLK Day of Service, visit the UW Carlson Center's website. To learn more about the volunteer projects and to sign up, stop by the FIUTS office in HUB 206.
