Poetry On Buses Launch Party says
Join us for a celebration of poetry and movement!

In 2016, we asked King County residents to share their original poetry with us, all on the theme of water. It's a vital part of our region, so how does it shape us and move us daily?

After receiving more than 1,600 submissions, we're thrilled to kick off a year of poetry on transit throughout King County, and online! Hear poems from more than 30 of the poets in a variety of languages and experience live music and dance performances. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the event.

This celebration is free and open to all ages.

Ethio Girls, Hengda Dance Academy, Jourdan Imani Keith, Kiana and Milvia, Gabriel Teodros, Native Jazz Trio, and Revolver

Poetry on Buses is a partnership between 4Culture, the Office of Arts & Culture Seattle, Sound Transit, King County Metro Transit, King County Wastewater Treatment Division, King County Water and Land Resources Division, and Seattle Public Utilities.
