Preparing For The Big One: Residents Council Quarterly Meeting says
Emergency preparedness is critical to making our downtown resilient. Whether snow and ice, excessive heat, power outages or other forces of nature, we should be ready for the unpredictable. After the release of the New Yorker article, The Really Big One, more Seattleites began preparing for another possibility: a magnitude 9.0 earthquake.

At the next Residents Council forum, experts from Seattleā€™s Office of Emergency Management will speak about the earthquake threat to Seattle and how to prepare in your apartment, in your building and in your downtown Seattle neighborhood.

Please join us for what promises to be an informative and fun evening. Doors at 5 p.m. Program from 6 to 7 p.m.
