Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra kicks off its 17th season with its Fall Concert, featuring George Gershwin’s “Cuban Overture,” (originally titled Rumba); self-taught composer Mike Hsu’s “Synchronicity” (2004); and Johannes Brahms’ “Symphony No. 3” (1883). The Seattle-based orchestra, founded by musical director Alan Shen in 1999, is an all-volunteer ensemble “dedicated to making the world’s greatest music made accessible and fun.”
