Raising Mixed Race says
"If we are to capture the imagination and membership of our community’s next generational cohort, we must become fluent in nascent conversations on multiracial identity...'Raising Mixed Race' is undoubtedly set to become the benchmark tome on this subject..."

Ryan Kenji Kuramitsu
Pacific Citizen

Please come join author Sharon H. Chang for a very special book event at the Wing Luke Museum - the *only* pan-Asian Pacific American community-based museum in America. To date Sharon's events have offered a more cursory glance at the contents of her inaugural work. But now - for the first time - Sharon will discuss in detail the research, theory and framework behind Raising Mixed Race. She is also deeply honored to be joined by filmmaker Eliachi Kimaro (African x Korean) who will discuss and show the trailer for her award-winning film A Lot Like You. Q&A to follow for both creators. Don't miss it!

This event is free and open to the public.
