Brooklyn based musician, composer and bassist Rene Hart hits The Royal Room with his west coast band, which includes some of Seattle’s most compelling improvisors and world class musicians Skerik, Thomas Marriott, Dawn Clement and D'Vonne Lewis.

Rene Hart is a member of Honey Ear Trio with Allison Miller and Jeff Lederer and has performed extensively as a sideman and collaborator in the American Jazz tradition, rock/pop/folk and experimental fields. He has recorded and/or performed with David Amram, Bill McHenry, Don Braden, Dakota Staton, Charles Davis, Myra Melford, Julian Priester, Sasha Dobson, James Hunter, Charles Davis, Jessica Lurie, Joan Osbourne, Branford Marsalis, Pete Seeger, Anat Fort, Robert Pinksy, Steven Bernstien, Wayne Horvitz, Janis Ian, Holly Near, Joel Frahm, Yoshie Fruchter, Mark Ronson, Butch Morris, Arnie Lawrence, Erik Mingus, Victor Lewis, Oscar Noriega, Jamie Saft, Will Bernard, Eric Deutsch and Satoko Fuji. He has performed at major music festivals, including the North Sea Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, The Newport Jazz Festival and on television on The Tonight Show and Late Night with Conan O’Brian. Rene is recognized for using a unique mix of acoustic and electronic sounds in an innovative way. Rene's composing and performing style addresses the many ways people love music and he is currently developing real time visual and musical environments using audience bio data and sound analysis.
