Town Hall Seattle says
In The Lemon Tree, journalist Sandy Tolan addressed the conflict in the Middle East–now he’s adding a face to it. Children of Stone is the true story of one Palestinian man’s quest to build a music school in this conflict-ravaged area, by bringing together musicians from around the world and opening minds to the possibilities presented by art. Tolan will share former refugee Ramzi Hussein Aburedwan’s dynamic undertaking, and explain how the power of music can–and did–transcend circumstances and societal divisions to bring young people together.
