SFO’s spring performance features Emmanuel Chabrier’s “Joyeuse marche,” Edouard Lalo’s “Symphony in G minor,” Frederic Chopin’s “Concerto for Piano No. 1 in E minor, op. 11,” and Joaquin Turina’s “Danzas fantasticas,” in a tribute to some of France’s greatest composers. Under the musical direction of Wesley Schulz, the orchestra includes young performers as soloists and orchestral players. This program’s featured soloist is pianist Aaron Petit.
