Join Kula sisters Angela and Jill as they share their lifelong love of yoga playfulness and partner awareness to further a sense of aliveness and well-being. We'll practice back strengtheners and shoulder openers with some partner yoga as prop exploration. This sisterly supported, heart centered class will leave you feeling more inspired and connected in community.

Join us to explore asana in new ways, and support one another in your back bend.

All Levels welcome.

Sisters Angela DiMario and Jill Baumgardner co-founded Kula Movement in Ballard and continue to co-create diverse platforms for healing and sharing joy in community since 2008.

Angela teaches AcroYoga, Forrest Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and has studied in depth with Ana Forrest, Sri Dharma Mittra, & Shiva Rea. These teachers, and many other gifted yogis (including her mother), have guided Angela over the past 20 years. Angela brings great joy in sharing her passion for yoga with others. She provides a platform to show up authentically, compassionately, and to connect in a way that supports how one lives with themselves and in the world in a conscious and positive manner.

Jill teaches AcroYoga, Forrest yoga and pre & postnatal Yoga and received a MA in Counseling Psychology, Concentration in Somatic Psychology, California Institute of Integral Studies in 2010. Jill's pursuits include a love for climbing, cycling, and water sports. She is passionately committed to turning people on to embodying Spirit in their yoga practice and in their lives.

Spotlight on Yoga, a new FRIDAY evening class to showcase the very best of what Seattle has to offer in the way of yoga and related body-mind-spirit practices and activities.

Doors open 5:30
Class starts at 6:00 promptly
Class ends at 7:30 promptly

Cost is $10 drop-in or $9 on an OmCulture pass. Pay cash, check, or credit card at the door.

Bring your own mat (we do have a few mats to lend if you forget).
