The Beautiful Struggle says
Join us at Gay City’s Calamus Auditorium for a LGBTQ+ people of color- centered conversation celebrating power in the face of adversity.

Local community leaders will lead a talk celebrating and acknowledging the work and lives of people who have survived many different types of violence, from transphobia and bigotry to institutionalized racism. This is an evening celebrating space within our communities where we connect, inspire and build.

Our panelists include Christopher Peguero, Dominique Stephens, Luis Fernando Ramirez, Sonj Basha, and Jacque Larrainzar. The panel will be moderated by Luzviminda “Lulu” Carpenter.

Accessibility Info: The Calamus Auditorium at Gay City is ADA accessible, has two single-stall all-gender restrooms, and is a fragrance-free space. For more information about accessibility at Gay City please visit gaycity.org/access
